Can you help with any property-related issue?

Can you help with modern or new-build home-related issues?
Our Expertibles are specialists in traditional residential properties i.e. homes built around 100 years ago. In the future, we plan to accommodate more modern construction types.
What if the Expertible can’t answer my questions?
Each of our Expertibles have been hand-selected and rigorously vetted to ensure they have the experience and competence necessary to give guidance. In the unlikely event that an Expertible is unable to answer your questions, we can arrange for another Expertible to help. Please contact support@expertible.com and we will assist.
What if I have to cancel or reschedule my consultation?
You may cancel or reschedule your consultation through our platform. We require at least 24 hours’ notice for any changes or cancellations, otherwise you will still be charged the full consultation fee.
An Expertible may cancel your consultation if they deem that your case is not suited to their field of expertise (and we are satisfied that they can not help). In this case, we will refund you the full consultation fee.
Can I have an Expertible visit my home?
No, Expertible is a fully virtual service and consultations are only via the platform video calls. To maintain our independence, our Expertibles are not permitted to solicit work outside of the platform. They may be able to assist you in finding a suitable local professional to help, although this cannot be guaranteed.
How quickly can I speak to an Expertible?
Depending on their availability, you may be able to speak to an Expertible as soon as tomorrow. Click on Our Expertise to start browsing Expertibles by topic area and book a consultation.
How much do the consultations cost?
For simplicity, consultation costs are dependent on the time allocated for each topic area; for example a review of information provided followed by a 30 min video consultation costs £110 and a review and £45 minute video consultation costs £145. All our Expertibles are at the top of their particular field and they all costs the same. You can check the cost of your recommended Expertibles before you book. (All prices are including VAT)
How long are the consultations?
We’ve conducted extensive market research that has allowed us to determine the average time required for clients to get the answers they need from their session. The average session length will depend on the type of expertise you’re looking for. Our average video consultation length is 30-45 minutes, which typically allows enough time for you to explain your situation and receive guidance. We are constantly reviewing session lengths in order to provide the right balance of the Expertible’s time and value to you.
If you have multiple areas or challenges that you’d like to discuss, we recommend booking a separate consultation slot for each issue to help ensure you get the answers you need without running out of time!
It is possible to rebook a session with the same Expertible to have follow on sessions providing they are available.
Do I have to pay for my consultation upfront?
Yes, payments are taken at the time of booking via our secure Stripe portal.
How do I know my Expertible is giving the right advice?
Our Expertibles join by invitation only and they have been carefully selected by our technical team. There are a number of ways we ensure qualifications, ongoing competence and the quality of advice our Expertibles provide including:
- Initial interview to determine suitability
- Invitation to submit an application for review
- Checking of qualifications and membership of organisations (e.g. RICS, ARB, IHBC etc)
- Review of applicants CV, previous work and social media presence
- Peer review with other Expertibles already on-boarded.
- Spot checks of recorded consultations by our chief technical advisor to ensure quality
Are the video consultations recorded?
Yes. All video sessions are recorded and can be played back by you (and your Expertible) whenever you wish. This is done by logging into your account, navigating to the Consultation Log through the main menu and selecting the respective booking under the ‘Completed’ tab.
